I was born and raised in a small town outside of Benson, Arizona. I grew up with lots of different animals including horses, cows, rabbits, etc. I received my bachelor's degree from University of Arizona and attended vet school as part of the WIMU Program, so I spent my first two years at Utah State University and my last two years at Washington State University. I knew I wanted to come back to sunny Arizona to be close to family. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs (a golden retriever and a chihuahua mix), 2 horses (that live with my parents), and a crested gecko. I have interests in feline medicine, behavior, and geriatrics. One of my goals as a vet is to decrease pets stress around vet visits and make the whole process more enjoyable for pets and their owners. I enjoy working with owners and improving the human and animal bond. In my free time I enjoy taking care of my many house plants and reading.
