Dr. Cooper is an Arizona native! She grew up mainly in Gilbert, and always had a love for animals, especially cats and horses. This love for animals, as well as a passion for science and learning, made her decide around the age of 10 that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and that decision never changed!
She attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2010. In 2014, she completed her Doctorate in veterinary medicine at Washington State University.
Dr. Cooper moved back to Arizona immediately following veterinary school and settled in Mesa. In her free time, she enjoys going to Disneyland, seeing musicals and plays, reading, and spending time with her partner Josh and their pets – two dogs: Esmeralda (a greyhound) and Jackson (a mixed-breed), three cats: Sedona, Loki, and Winifred, and a tank of fresh water tropical fish.
