Alta Mesa Animal Hospital
First and foremost, we are sorry for what you are experiencing with the recent unexpected closure of Red Mountain Animal Hospital. We at Alta Mesa Animal Hospital are working hard to support you and your pet during this difficult transition
As of 10/22/25, we are actively working on a migration to obtain access to your medical records. At this time, we are unable to retrieve any medical records until this migration is completed.
We are hoping to have access to all Red Mountain Animal Hospital patient records by end of day on 10/23/25.
Check our website banner for regular updates on records access and current record turnaround times.
If you have requested records and have not received them yet, we appreciate your patience while we work hard to get them to you.
While we understand many have just been seen by a Red Mountain Animal Hospital veterinarian, Arizona state law does require an established Veterinary Client Patient Relationship prior to any prescription refills, food refills, surgical procedures, injections, etc.
What does this mean?
You will need to schedule an establishing exam with a new veterinarian in order for any further prescription refills or treatments.
If you would like to schedule with Alta Mesa Animal Hospital, we are more than happy to see your pets for an establishing exam with one of our 3 veterinarians and get them the care and medical attention they need.
We truly appreciate your patience while we navigate this challenging transition with you. We can assure you that our entire team is working diligently to ensure you receive access to your pet’s records as soon as possible.
